Many voices will contribute to the telling of this story and many talented folks will be landing their expertise. Two of the authors of the four essays featured in the book are from Maine and they include Maine's former poet laureate and long-time director of Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Stu Kestenbaum, and Maine College of Art & Design alumna and studio jeweler, Nisa Smiley.
This book will use Solveig as its title font. I am still searching for the perfect typeface that will featured throughout the book. The things one considers are, readability, attractiveness and versatility. Some fonts look great large but not small and some don't contain all the symbols, known as glyphs, that one needs to convey accurate information. Who knew?
This book will be designed and laid out on an iMac M3. The Adobe suite of design programs will be used for creating and editing visual content. Video editing software such as Wondershare will be used for various promo pieces.
